WARRIOR’S DUTY – Book
I’m the author of the book Warrior’s Duty, a Sci-Fi Action Thriller, on sell in Amazon.
In a near future, when the new Japanese Empire extends to Burma and beyond, two warriors will challenge the concept of duty in order to maintain their loyalty to the emperor and the honor of both.
Kai is a veteran of the recent wars of the empire, and what should be just another mission, where his ninjas’ martial skills and advanced technologies will be put to the test, will quickly evolve into a complex and deadly situation. This mission will test both their ability to adapt and the strength of their convictions.
Takeda is the most distinguished general of the emperor’s military. Resentful and unable to resign himself to the consequences of his decisions, he is unexpectedly presented with an opportunity for redemption. Aware of the general’s situation, an ambitious intelligence officer offers to solve the problem, unaware that Takeda has a very different plan.
From the comfort of a military base HQ to the inhospitable territories of the African savannah, from the Tibetan plateau to the Southeast Asian rainforests, through intense dialogue and fraught situations where violence is the only possible argument, the concept of duty will be tested.
MERCY TRIGGER – Script
Synopsis:
A retired hitman and best sniper in the business, Edward “Trigger” Fraiser, gets himself involved in one final job after two years in hiding from a previous failed mission. He soon discovers he’s not alone in the job and meets Karl in person after only knowing him as ‘control’, the man who directed so many of his previous assignments. Karl admires Trigger as much as Trigger dislikes Karl, but they have a job to do.
And then, things start to go wrong. Karl captures Ambrosia and Diana, a prostitute and her social worker respectively, as they are sneaking into the building trying to warn Ambrosia’s boyfriend that mob boss Scar is coming for him. But Ambrosia’s boyfriend is already dead at the hands of Karl, and now the two women are stuck there, much to Trigger’s displeasure.
Struggling with his inner conflicts as well as Karl’s psychopathic tendencies, Trigger tries to do his job right but is once again interrupted when Scar and his cronies arrive. The building turns from an abandoned construction site perfect to do a clean sniper job into a battlefield for dominance with a quickly rising death toll.
In between both senseless and necessary violence, secrets, deceit, and unexpected connections, Trigger must find in himself more than his need for closure and use his abilities as a hitman in the way he was always meant to.
WILL OF STONE – Script
Synopsis:
John Stone is a ruthless and lonely mercenary who takes jobs most people wouldn’t be able to stand. Dealing with the baggage of his past, John finishes yet another difficult mission before heading back to his empty life. This time, though, his employer Knox offers him a different job; to retrieve a family treasure from Mozambique for two wealthy siblings. With such an easy premise and nothing else to do, John accepts.
Right away, though, it’s clear the job is gone be a lot more than expected. John arrives at a war-torn Mozambique and meets Carlos, an active Portuguese military who acts as his handler for the mission. He also meets Sandro, the man who was hired for this same job before him but broke out on his own to get the treasure for himself.
Things start to go wrong. At one of Pemba’s most popular nightclubs, John and Carlos find allies, enemies, and even their enemies’ enemies, as an all-out fight breaks out. John starts to realize what he really got himself into, and it only gets worse from there. He meets Diana, a humanitarian who insists on coming to the mission with them, only to end up getting shot as Sandro’s men ambush them.
Ready to give up and go back home, John calls Knox to get him out, but ends up staying when he suddenly figures out the location of the treasure. It’s then a race between John, Carlos and their ally Lovejoy versus Sandro and his merciless ally Mussa, plus the Russian mercenaries that only play for themselves.
Among political upheaval in a foreign country, his own secrets, and regrets, and too many close encounters with death, John learns about what matters to him through life’s hardest lessons.
